My name is Troy Boldy. I am the CEO of Vision Racing, one of the leading go-kart event organisers in NSW.

At this time, I’m going to take you through how a regular racing day takes place, what you can expect to experience, and some of the unique benefits Vision Racing has to offer you.
What You Can Expect On Race Day
The day starts early. All drivers have their morning coffee, receive their race gear, allocation of helmets, and suits. At 9:30 am I hold the driver’s briefing. Here’s where I familiarise you with the equipment and event day format.
Once the briefing is complete, the practice sessions begins. Here’s where you get the behind the wheel of your go-kart and become familiar with its handling capacities, acceleration and braking. This practice session is essential because most people have never been behind the wheel of a racing kart before, and the power takes a little getting used to.
Next we move onto the heats. This is where the serious racing begins! You’ll tussle, scrounge and fight for every inch of track. Your competitors will do everything in their power to stop you, but if you’re good, you will prevail and take the coveted checkered flag.
The heats continue until lunch at 1pm.
A full catered lunch buffet is on the menu. You will enjoy:

After lunch…
It’s Back To Racing!
Heats continue until 3pm, until we come to the finals. This is where it all comes down to the wire! By this stage your adrenalin is pumping. You’re primed for the finals. And the excitement has you fully immersed in the experience of the moment!
Once the finals are completed we have presentation of trophies and drinks.
There you have it! By the end of the 8 hours race format, I promise you will be exhausted and invigorated all at once!

Mid week really worked well from a client entertainment point of view
The past three corporate days we've done with you have been fantastic, the clients loved them because it wasn't the football or the cricket, it was new, it was participative, it was great fun. The best feed back (from my
perspective) came weeks and months latter when they were still talking about what a great day they had, who passed who, who spun, you know the stories. All these guys have been to corporate boxes dozens of times, and its all the same. Paint ball isn't an option because as much as you'd like to, actively go hunting and shooting customers is just the wrong message. The racing was serious yet fun, and your team took all of the hassle out,
and fed us well to boot. The photos we took and mailed out the week after are still on peoples desks (i.e. months after)
Mid week really worked well from a client entertainment point of view, because the key decision makers will make the time for a good event, and it doesn't interrupt their private time with their families. You also get
plenty of time to talk to them between races to re-live the previous session, and actually figure them out on a personal level. Something I've spoken to the guys in my office about, is that the way a person drives on
the race track tells you a lot about their personality, and gives you a heads up on how to deal with them in the future (i.e. cautious, competitive, 9-10ths or 11-10ths). From the boss's point of view, the fact that we did
it mid week also meant that leaving their wives/partners at home didn't cause a problem for them, and meant we were only paying for hard targets, and not an extra seat for each one. I was able to entertain twice as many
contacts for the money. i.e. great bang for your bucks. It would have cost twice as much per head to go to a Union Test, and only every second seat would be a hard target. The karting really is great value from that
perspective.

Wow! What an awesome day. This is the first time I’ve been go karting, and I gotta tell you, it was the experience of my life. My adrenalin was pumping, and I was buzzing all day. Even though I got 4th place (out of four runners J), and a special trophy for the most number of spins in a race… and I had a great day. When you said, "blow off the cob webs, put on the helmet and come and have some fun" I knew it was going to lead to trouble. Troy, after 3 years pitting on the side line I thought I might have got it out of the system, but thanks to you the bugs biting again. It's sort of a weird feeling at the end of the day when you say " I feel buggered", then you know you've had a sh.t load of fun doing what you like. I know mid week karting is not for every one, but as you said "It doesn't interfere with your weekend commitments, spending time with the kids and is a very cost effective solution to Motorsport racing."I can see why you had such good feedback.............. Simply Fantastic“ A huge thank you to the Vision Racing Team at Oran Park. It has been some time since I went karting and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the day went smoothly and really lots of fun without the stress of a Club day event. Not only was the racing fun, clean, challenging and plenty of laps, the free lunch spread was great with ample free drinks and food all day, but the real back saver was the use of the motorized bike to push us out when we needed it and rescue us when he had a little oops out on the track. No need for a pit crew here, great, especially after my chain came off in one session. A few moments later your staff member and the Quad were there. Your staff jumped off the quad, quickly put my chain back on, repositioned my kart, told me to jump in then waited for the karts to pass and got me going again. How good was that. And also made heaps of new like-minded friends looking for fun, stress free karting. I'll be back.

Dear Troy, Your Vision Racing Corporate Go-Kart Day was an adrenalin, action packed day from the moment I arrived and I was still buzzing when I went to bed that night. To be honest with you . . . I was a little skeptical about just how good it could be and you simply blew me away.
I knew as soon as I slammed my foot on the accelerator . . . that I was in for one hell of a day. Ripping round the race track at 100km an hour with my bum sitting only an inch of the ground made me feel like I was Peter Brock in his heyday!
The whole day was very professional and every other businessman there couldn't stop talking about how much fun and excitement they were having. Everyone got into the competitive spirit, trying to beat the other drivers as well as their own individual lap times.
The food and catering was sensational and the icing on the cake was the trophy presentation and the icy cold beers to cap off the best corporate day I have ever experienced!
